TYRE AIR PRESSURE

Believe it or not, under inflation is the leading cause of tyre failure. The bad news is: low tyre pressure can cause tyres to lose their grip, especially on wet surfaces, which means you could be slipping and sliding into much worse damage. The good news is: it’s completely preventable! Here are our tips on ensuring your tyre pressure is at its optimal level.

First of all, be sure to keep your tyre pressure at the recommended level. You can find this number in your car owner’s manual or on your car door. Also, it’s best if you check your tyre pressure regularly, which means about once a month. The most effective time to do this is in the morning when pressure is cool and stabilized. And if for some reason you experience sudden and/or abnormal pressure loss, make sure to check the valve system for leakage.

This may be one of the many evils of your life, but it’s necessary for all of us at some point – replacing your tyres. We think it’s pretty obvious which tyres you should use (Accelera tyres, of course!), but it’s not always as clear to know how you should be replacing your tyres. Don’t worry, we’re here to help.
